We have 4 important announcements to share with you:

1. Obtain Parent Volunteer Hours by participating in LAUSD's Arts Fest at Grand Park, Downtown Los Angeles, tomorrow, March 15, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The festival will include over 2,000 student performers, artist market showcasing student art, screening room featuring student films; creativity zone, celebrity appearances, food trucks, vendor booths and giveaways. 2. A great goal for this week is to…
Participate in the “Pennies for Patients” Drive.The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. We are registered to participate until March 20, 2014. Our fundraising goal is $850!!! The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) would like to thank you in advance for participating! Winning advisory will receive a very fulfilling prize!

3. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 you can obtain a total of 3 volunteer hours for attending our Sotomayor Community Safety Meeting at 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at our library. The meeting will be very informative and takes place once every semester.

4. 10th grade and participating 11th & 12th grade students will be taking the CAHSEE on March 17th and March 18th.

1. Obtenga horas de trabajo voluntario participando en el Festival de Artes de LAUSD en Grand Park, en el Centro de Los Ángeles, mañana, 15 de Marzo del 2014 de 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. El festival incluirá más de 2.000 artistas, estudiantes de arte estudiantil, mercado de artistas, sala de proyecciones con películas de estudiantes, zona de creatividad, presentaciones de celebridades, camiones de comida, puestos de vendedores y regalos. 2. Un gran objetivo para esta semana es …

Participar en los "Pennies for Patients" drive.The Sociedad de Leucemia y Linfoma (LLS) es la mayor organización voluntaria de salud en el mundo dedicada a financiar la investigación del cáncer de sangre y proporcionar educación y servicios al paciente. Estamos registrados para participar hasta el 20 de marzo de 2014. Nuestra meta de recaudación es de $ 850! La Sociedad de Leucemia y Linfoma (LLS) les gustaría darle las gracias de antemano por su participación! Asesoramiento ganador recibirá un premio muy gratificante ☺

3. Siguiente Martes, 18 de Marzo se llevara acabo la Reunión del Comité de Seguridad de Sotomayor en la biblioteca de 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. 3 horas de trabajo voluntario para padres serán disponible.

4. Estudiantes del10 º grado (y algunos del 11 y del 12 grado) van a tomar el CAHSEE el 17 de marzo y 18 de marzo.
